Alpha builders started our wrap-around extension in May 2020. They gave us a very competitive quote and we were very happy with their prediction of timescales for completion even though we understood some flexibility due to the pandemic!
The lads were friendly, polite and extremely knowledgeable. They started promptly in the mornings and always put in a full day’s work, and often beyond keeping us informed of progress every step of the way. We continued to live in the property but they kept the dust and mess to an absolute minimum leaving us with a working kitchen until the last possible moment then ensured we had the ability to cook and keep food refrigerated all the way through.
They were thoughtful, conscientious and safety-focused (we have 2 small dogs and they were never at risk of being accidentally let out) they advised about possible variations for placement of fixtures and fittings and we often used their knowledge and know-how to improve our ideas. The build included the fitting of a new kitchen and bathroom, including tiling as well as a front porch, raised patio area at the rear of the house and flooring throughout.
We have no hesitation in recommending Joe, Paul and Sam of Alpha builders, they were extremely trustworthy and their work was always to an excellent finish.
